FIF designs and manufactures a complete line of silencers for application on all fan types. Most often, it is necessary to silence the side of the fan that is open to atmosphere, requiring the use of inlet or outlet fan silencers. FIF silencers are manufactured to suit the requirements of your needs.

2. Inlet box for fan inlet size

3. CFM and density of air

4. Pressure drop allowance for silencer

5. Acoustic criterion required

Cylindrical silencers with or without centre pods.  High density mineral wool packing.  Acoustic grade perforated sheet facing. Melinex wrap for wet conditions. Mild steel and stainless steel construction. Low pressure loss pods with nose and tail fairings. Inlet cone. Wire mesh guards. Mid frequency noise reductions up to 50 dB(A)
